You shouldn't need anything other than an alignment after you install coil springs. That is a guess, but I don't think you are going to put the suspension geometry so far out of wack that an alignment won't fix it. The only thing that would possibly be affected is the toe.

Take another look at his post. He says ifI get coils. That is not the issue, he wants to know if he needs camber plates. Spacers?

Yes, and the springs that he gets would make a difference (due to the drop/spring rate differences).
A spring that drops 1.0 is not then equal to one that drops say more than 1.5. And that information is important to accurately answering his question.
He may just be switching 'coils' from a speed to a 3. Or he may be wanting to slam with other springs alone.
The answer to that would give us better room to advise if camber plates are necessary or not.

Sorry guys, SHould of been more precise. If I get lets ssay BC coilovers. Im sure I would need camber plates correct? And spacers just to push the back wheels out to not look like a FWD. Right?

BC Coilovers already have camber plates (Front). Only thing in the rear that would work is camber arms.

I don't understand your reason for the spacers, though. What kind of look are you trying to achieve with these mods?

My guess is he wants the rear wheels to sit a bit more flush-ish like the front ones do.

BC coilovers have camber plates right out of the box. From the factory there is no camber adjustment on a 3. You have to buy aftermarket camber arms that are adjustable.

To clarify, the camber arms hat is referring to are for the rear suspension only.
I am not aware if the aftermarket provides a camber alignment bolt (an off-center bolt) to replace the inner bolt of the front lower control arm. These would allow some camber adjustment but usually not that much... maybe 1/4* in or out.
But as hat said, the BCs do come with adjustable upper camber plates.

Camber arms in the rear. I don't even know if anyone offers a bolt, but it would be for the front if they did.
