Is there any difference is seat covers from a 2015 to a 2016? I can't seem to find anything really noticable. Has the same amount of panels in the middle of the seat and back seats look the same.

The rear seats definitely are different. The seat bottom of the rear seats for 2016 MY is longer / deeper.

Front doesn't appear to be any different from looks alone - not sure if there is any difference in comfort. There is a Mazda press release that speaks to the interior changes b/t the two model years.
