Question: LED foot well lights, demio 2006

Just wondering if any one can show me how they wired up their foot well lights. The easiest way I could find is just wiring them directly to the dome light.
I've tried to pry the dome light console out so I could get behind it to attach the wires and then run it from the roof to the floor, however it feels like the dome light is not clipped in but rather stuck on? If I could get confirmation if some one has removed their dome light console out I would go ahead with prying it out.

Other ways I was going to attempt was to put the positive to a fuse that controls the dome light and the negative to the door button that shuts it off, but I can't find the fuse that controls the dome lights....

Any help appreciated.

You feed them from a fused feed then the ground side goes to the dimmer circuit via the connection on the BCM....

are you able to show me the ground side's dimmer circuit? I don't know which color wire is the ground dimmer. What I've done is get the positive from the fuse box and ground from the door button close switch but this makes it completly go off if I close the door and not dim out like the interior lights

Did you look at the forum thread ? Clearly shows on the Mazda documentation where the cables go on the BCM ?
