Question: Installing A/F ratio gauge

Alright, I've read the thread by LinuxRacr where he says to use the pink wire with the blue stripe (#60 on the ECU) for installing this gauge inside the car.

I pulled my MSP apart, found thiswire, and I wanted to verify that it is the correct one.
There is already another wire spliced into this one.
When running the car, my voltmeter reads 0 when connected to this wire (bare spot).
Should it not read between 0 and 1V while the car runs? Fluctuating?
I want to make sure this is the correct wire before hacking it to tiny pieces.
Those of you (with MSP's) that have installed an A/F ratio gauge, and wired it INSIDE the car (not through the firewall), where did you tap into??

:)
Thanks for the help!

after looking at the mess of a wiring diagram for the ECU, i decided to go splice from the actual O2 sensor at the header. disconnected the sensor plug, spliced through to the pink/blue wire and ran it through the firewall. got the power from the fuse panel and that's it.

Thanks,
I would like to keep the wire inside the car though, for the ease of hiding when the car goes to the dealer...

Also, the only easily accessible O2 sensor for me is the one in the manifold BEFORE the turbo...

More help anybody?

That O2 sensor is the one your tapping into at pin 60. It took me all of 10 minutes to tap it. The one you reffered to, with the other wire spliced into it, is correct. hope that helps :D
