For those who have replaced their Protege5 badge with the Familia badge, what did you use to stick it on? I'm not sure what to buy and don't want to use just any old adhesive so I thought i'd ask the pros (you guys) first. Thanks in advance!

I thought the badges had little arms that went into holes in the car. oh well. 3M adhesive is pretty good. They might even have something specific for the badging in the auto parts store.

3m outdoor extra strenght double sided tape.. if u can steal my badge.. before i get outside and shoot you with some salt rounds.. u deserve it -=)

you DON'T use any glue, tape, or any crap like that... there are 2 plastic retainer plugs that SHOULD have come with the badge... with those in place on the badge, just pop it into holes where the badge should go

if you don't have those, then they're available from the dealer

ok.. they why did the stock badges have 2 sided tape on the back of them?
im guessing someone broke into the lot.. put 2 sided tape on my badge and then they sold me the car? damn jokes on me..
on MY badge.. i cut very small strips of 3m outdoor super adhesive tape that i bought at home depot.. and put there an the crivioces on the back of the badge.. i also used the 2 white retaining clips.. but i doubt i will come across another 323f badge anytime soon.. so i wanted to make this one hard to steal. -=)

Would the 3m outdoor super adhesive tape or 3m double sided tape damage the paint in anyway if someone did try to steal the badge?

where did u get these badges??? do they fit perfectly into the stock pegs?
if your lookin for badges go to www.corksport.com. correct me im wrong but i think that only the protege5s were called familias. im positive that the sedans were called 323s. so if anyone has a sedan(MSP etc) call it a 323.

Yes, you yank the stock badge out with dental floss and scrape off the crud it left from the previous adhesive

The back of the familia badge has two pegs with rubber fittings that you press and snap into the existing holes.

i'll show you them on my car when youre back in ffx

I have been waiting for that badge for months. Corksport is currently sold out and wont get any in until the end of May. I have an MSP but dont want the protege badge on it and its to expensive to fill the holes. Any one know of another place?

boomplustoys.net > Parts/Products > JDM > Mazda > p5 > there are 3 badges there.
