Question about lowering 2011 CX-9 on 22” wheels

Just a quick question on lowering my 2011 CX9 on a 22” Wheels, I would like to ask if lowering it will affect the safety of the car. I am looking between getting lowering springs or coilovers for the purpose of getting more handling performance.

What are your thoughts and suggestions based on your experiences?

TIA! Cheers!

Lowering it will not effect safety. The negatives are a slightly firmer ride. The pro's are a slightly firmer ride. Your COG (center of gravity) is lower, and the lower the better for handling. And the main thing, it looks better lowered. :)

Lowered on H&R coils.
