Anyone know the whitest headlamp buld on the market??? I was looking at the Sylvania Silversatars.....Anyone heard any good things about them???

HIDs will be your best option. but if you can't afford them, eurolite bulbs are white. but make sure you don't get the plasma filled ones (i.e. street legal ones). i had them on the 4runner. they were more purple than white and the change wasn't that noticeable. i think i got them from www.aieonline.com

Silverstars were a great invenstment. No fake high-school ricer purple, just nice, white and bright!

i got 7000k blubs off ebay...15 bucks shipped and they are white....only blue i see is around the edges of the beam pattern and a lil bit around the headlight when ur lookin at them.....plus unlike alot of the fake hib blubs out there it doesnt cover ur light i see much better then the stockers now.

Had sylvanias and piaa's in my car... take the sylvania. Best for dollar. (Pia too expensive)

I've had problems with the Piaa H4 bulbs burning out quickly while the Sylvania seem to last longer and are half the price.

osrams are the same as the sylvanias, dont pay more for the same thing... and you can get the silverstars from walmart or a local auto retailers.
You need the 9003's

i just put in eurolite xenons and i am very pleased
very bright, white light, with just a hint of blue
much vision
25$ at local store

Not to rain on your parade, but I had a pair of those on another vehicle that took the H4 style and they didn't last long. Granted the car had DRL, but the Siverstars lasted a lot longer for me. May is was just the extended use, but I was somewhat pissed.

Osrams are NOT the same as Sylvania.

Osram Silverstars produces 50% more light some of which is used to throw a 20m longer beam. This is done by a tighter wound filament. No PIAAs 55w=110w free energy marketing crap. They are only available in Europe and are clear. No tinted class, etc.

Sylvania Silverstars uses a tinted light sapphire colour glass. I'm not sure if they produces more light, but they give off a clean and white colour, and are as bright as stock bulbs.

Some site claim they produce 20%-30% more light. However, Sylvania does to make any claims to greater light output.

i have been using Raybrig bulbs from japan in my rx7 and r6 and they work great. they have lasted quite a while and still are bright. definitely check them out too. they are a little more expensive than your cheap $25 bulbs but you will notice the difference. the cheaper ones leak the gases that are contained in the bulb over time, decreaseing their brightness. im a dealer so if you guys are interested let me know. heres a pic of what they look like.

I thought someone just said these Osram bulbs are available at Walmart? From whats been said, they're both really high quality bright bulbs. Has anyone ordered the Osrams from overseas?
