PVC modifications

I recently had my the new vent kit installed by Mazda, followed by a new turbo, all under warranty.

Should I further modify/utilize further venting solutions?

I'm sure my intake is gunked up, and I hope to get around to cleaning it. I'd like to consider possible options that extend turbo life and keep intake cleaner (such as catch can, etc.)

Thanks!

[edit] for the record, my car is bone stock

Clean the intake/IM/valves and then get a catch can to help them stay clean.

EDIT:

I'm partial to the Damond Motorsports V1 catch can setup.

Catch can was what I was thinking. I suppose having to clean the intake every 7 years/60,000 miles isn't too much of a hassle, all things considered. I reckon the catch can will extend that somewhat.

Thanks for the response, magicka.

There's only so much you can do to prevent buildup. With a stock or nearly stock car, a catch can and a good PCV valve are about the best you can do. Although I hear water/meth injection works wonders to keep clean valves clean ;)
