How difficult would this be to install?

Well the site says "plug-and-play".... That generally means pretty easy. I'd suggest calling them though and asking specifically about your car.

As stated above, it should be a plug-n-play module. But if you happen to call Level-10, please tell us what they've got to say.

I'm interested in it for nothing more than increased line pressure (firmer shifts.) I don't use the slap-stick much (mines an 03,) but having increased line pressure with crisper shifts in full automatic mode would be nice.

$500 is a bit pricey.....

Update

I received an email from them, weeks ago. It's not available for the p5.

Here's the official reply:

"Dear Enthusiast,



Right now there is no Shiftronic for that car, but there is a Torque Converter upgrade for $498 + u ship us your existing Torque Converter. This process takes about 2-3 days buisness to complete and can be shipped next day air if there is a rush.

I have a auto 2002 p5 with no tiptronic, so, can I install that thing to make it have tiptronic?
