2 of the best games ever created IMO are Mario Kart 64 and Pokemon Puzzle League (aka Tetris Attack). Both are awesome games made by Nintendo. But yeah the rest of their lineup is kind of weak.

definetly child oriented when you look at what else is being offered out there (ie xbox, ps2)

anyone remember back in the day when Sega CD came out....that was sweet...sorry just thinkin back

wow, nice. cant wait for Playstation to regain top spot again. With its unmatched game choices and now top gaming device, it's unstopable. So is this gonna be like what, $500? Good thing I never got a ps2 or xbox. But I'll still have to wait like a year to get this after it's been released.

On a side note, that controller looks like a womans best friend (naughty)

they'll both appeal to everybody.. personally, I'll probably end up owning both, but the PS3 comes first.... Sony has always had a better lineup of games. XBOX has lots of shooters, which I refuse to play on a console (feels wrong, way too few possible commands)

i think itl come down to many things as well. microsoft tends to think outside the box and gets many new inovative features into its systems, which i like. sony is about putting whatever games hit their door fronts as possible, it works for them. i personally didnt go with ps2 because i didnt like how sony went around putting out games. yes i wont deny thet have many good games but most of it is the same crap different name, and yes this could be said about all consoles. but now microsoft has some developer backing, an issue it had with x-box seeing as how it was new and not many companies wanted to work with them. that and the fact that sony will make a difficult program to make games like it did with ps2 causing trouble with developers. and nintendo will try to be the medium of the too, itl stay a party platform but try to make it more mass market and not so much "kiddie" per say. they are switching to dvds to give them a equal balance with the two but i think that nintendo will try to be innovative and original as well, nintendo is about quality products and games. sony is about as many games as possible. microsoft is about is about both, or so i think i could be wrong and biased. yes each system has innovative titles for their own systems which is good im not going to lie ive almost bought an ps2 a couple of times. but i have x-box, my little sister has gamecube and ps2 so no need for repitition. plus i like x-box and the internal hd and the functions it offers. yes you pay more for live but you know what its a good community, its like paying for any mmorpg or any other online games for pc's. i will admit ive strayed the console route for pc's but recently ive noticed that to have a good gaming expierence on pc's you need top of the line products and to always be updating, for me this is a hassle so i shall revert to consoles. not bashing pc's but its too much money and headaches at times. this is just my two cents enjoy! That Killzone Trailer was nice. I just pre-ordered my Xbox 360 tonight. I'll wait for the PS3 to go down in price... Just my opinion/plan...

i am gonna let my gf brother get the xbox, ill get the ps3 and we will just play each others, cheapest way out, plus the ps3 hardware looks better then the xbox..

ill get xbox first since its coming out first, then ill save two dollars a day for the ps3 that way it seems resonable. graphics are kind of dissapointing i just saw clips on G4 from E3, only game i was impressed with was project gotham racing 3, environment looked very nice from the clips.

my friend says 50 gb a disk, i dont know if thats true but thats crazy.
