i'm not a gamer so i don't really understand the comparisons all that fully, however i did read one thing that the 360 can do that i'm not sure if by the stats listed the ps3 can do - streaming xvid, divx, avi, mp4 from the computer to play on tv. (if ps3 did that i might even get one. lolz)

chances are like everyone else has said, i might get both (actually my brother will probably get the ps3 and ill get the xbox 360 like it is now, hes got the ps2 i got the xbox)

on the other hand, the design of the controller looks odd.. I hope they look into that.. I have the design of the classic dual shock forever burned into my brain as the standard.

I'm just hoping they dish out some GOOD RPG's for the new PS3... overall, I haven't been exceptionally impressed with the RPG listing for the PS2.

square signed up with Xbox. Whether it's staying with sony as well, I have no idea. I'd imagine so.

I like the look of the ps3. But I do not like that controller. Looks like something from Batman. The batpad, or batstick, or batarang or something.


Controllers don't need to be that big imho.

I've seen some screen shots of ps3 games, and they look good, really good. With them coming out with this early spring 2006 they better damn well be faster then the xbox 360 otherwise they'll be kicked out of the top spot quickly.

speaking of GTA, it'll be out for the PC and Xbox in June. Enhanced GFX as well.

Just another thought as well. I like the Silver on this Ps3 ten times better then the ******* white on the xbox 360.

Like wtf is up with white? Consoles are usually around peoples tv's/stereo's which are silver, black, oak units etc. So what's white supposed to match with? Great for in the kitchen I guess.

Then you think of the fact that everyone is moving away from the boring beige ( and white) PC to go with black, silver, aluminum and so on........and here comes MS with a plain white console. Smart Move.

Newf I think the new XBox will be pretty customizable color-wise. I know the face plate is interchangable for sure. I see that Sony posted 3 different colors for the new PS3 -- one was the silver in this thread, 1 was black like the PS2 and the other was white like the new XBox.

They showed a remade Final Fantasy 7 trailer, but they said there won't be any actual remake. It was just to assure there will be a final fantasy on the ps3. I think XII is going to be on the ps3.

I don't think this may be the final design since on all the pics it says it is subject to change without notice but more pics here
