anyone know where i can get a set, i tried to look on ebay but the place that was selling them said they dont fit on our cars.

i am assuming you mean vent visors? the ones I bought are off of ebay and were made by a company called Wade. they are attached by double sided tape and i know a lot of people on here dont like that. not sure why, i have had them for over 2 years and they are still perfect. if you want the in-channel ones go to weather-tech. they are much more expensive but are better i guess?

Just go to advance auto I bought those for $55 bucks double side tape also love them haven't had a prob with them.

My main issue with the tape-ons is that if some fuckface wants them they'll just rip them from the car and have free ones. The others would revolve around them blowing off on the freeway if any issue with the tape or not being as weatherproof if tape issue. The WT's are tucked into the window channel and would probably break trying to get them for free. The WT's just look flusher, a bit more subtle IMO. Either set are better than none, during rainy s*** anyway.

the tape-on ones i have have gone through rain, rain while driving above 80, snow, ice and everything else and still are flush as the day i put them on. its all about the double sided 3m tape, once that stuff is on, it won't come off without a lot of work.

What are the main benefits again? I can crack my windows open when it's raining? When would I want to do that vs. turning on my air? Not trying to be sarcastic, I'm seriously curious/stupid

well i am a big fan of windows over air if possible, esp when i am doing city driving since it ups the mpg. and if it rains you can still roll them down enough. plus they look pretty nice on the car too which is a nice bonus.

unfortunately most studies have already proven to us that using windows and ac reduce mpg about the same. windows causing more drag, and the ac using the fuel more. however i do agree i prefer windows over air anyway. i just like the idea of on raining days in tx i can crack my windows for when it gets super ass hot right afterward.

What about in the winter? I crack one open to let the heat flow thru so it doesn't get so stuffy, the windows don't fog without having to run defrost to keep them clear which also runs the AC compressor & you stay warm too. What about leaving window cracked so it's not 1000 degrees inside when you have to park in the sun? What about keeping some water off the door panels if rolling down window at a drive thru when raining? I'm sure I missed a couple but you get the idea, right?

I like riding with my windows open in the spring time, but the Protege5 has TOO MUCH wind noise. So I am thinking about getting some of these vent visors, has anyone paid attention to notice if it cuts down on the wind noise?

it does sorta... but still noisy

your are complaining about wind noise when you're windows are open?? maybe close them?

don't have any visors (yet) but i would go for the weathertech. the stick on ones are kinda nasty looking, just to obvious and bulky looking. have had them on previous vehicles and they are great.

as mentioned its nice to crack windows when its raining (especially when its hot out and you park outside) or just parking outside when its hot in general, you can put the windows down a bit more without having to worry about people reaching into the car. more ventilation while hot out is always good.

Get a miata...it's quieter with the top down than the p5 with windows/sunroof open.

Well OObluees I appreciate the tip........couldnt figure that one out. But there are time I like to ride with the windows down going freeway speeds and would like it to be a bit quieter. As far as getting a Miata.....I would love one.......but I have two kids.....so for now....Im still loving the P5......
