So I know there is an old posting but it is kind of outdated and the photos are all gone so I'm making a new one for y'all.
(Past Mud Flap Thread)
The Parts
So the ones I ones I put on my P5 are the Rally armor Universal Mud Flaps found here. They are cheap and so far they are great. You also need (for the way I did it) are some hollow drywall expansion anchors found here. I bought 4 packs of the anchors. The total cost of this project after all expenses for me were about $35 dollars.
The Install
So I'm sorry for the lack of photos for the install but I will explain in detail how I did this.
Just comment if you have any questions.
1. Jack up the wheel you'd like to start with. Don't forget to use axle stands to hold it after you raised it!!! I did this so I could remove the tire so it was easier.
- You don't have to remove the wheel but the drill fits easier and less chance of messing up
2. Now take a piece of clear plastic that is as big as the mud flap and draw the flap on it. Take the now stencil of the mud flap and tap or carefully hold the plastic to the spot you would like the mud flap to go. Now take a marker and mark on the plastic where you like the anchors to go. Make sure you don't drill though metal spots.
Also you don't have to but I used the metal screw that was already there (Front fenders only). So if you would like it to be used take it out and mark it on the plastic as well.
The shiny screws are the anchors and the one dull screw is the screw that was already on the car.

3. Now take that stencil and put it over the back of the mud flap of choice. (You are mounting it facing the back so we drill through the back side of the mud flap.) Now poke a hole through the spots you marked on the plastic and then use chalk to mark the hole spots onto the mud flap.
3. Drill two holes that you know will work. So maybe the very top hole and one that is just underneath it. That's what I did.
4. If you want to use the one car screw take it out now and set it aside. Now hold the mud flap up to the wheel well where it will mount and use the chalk to mark those holes on the car well. Now drill carefully into the plastic and make sure not to go to far and hit metal or wires if any.
5. Take an anchor screw and put it into the mudflap then the wheel well. Then screw the anchors into place. Now you should have the mud flap attached. Great!
6. Now to support it more take those other holes and make sure they are okay to drill still. I learned the hard way my drilling all the holes and one hole on one of the flaps now aren't in use and now there is a random hole in my mud flap.
Take the drill and now drill through one or preferable two more spot and put two more anchors in. Also if you are going to use the one extra screw drill a hole for that as well and screw that screw back it.
7. The back wheel are done exactly the same. Just repeat the last steps make sure to not drill through anything important.

Up close front right mud flap.

Then just a couple photos of the car in general when done.
