how come, it seems like in every picture, the p5 is a tad bit lower on the drivers side? this is really annoying

i dont think the weight of one person will do that, even over time (the cars only a year old) and i almost always have someone in the passenger seat unless im going to work

its not just my p5 btw, its every pic of them ive seen, even lowered ones (although its less noticeable)

are you being serious? i've never noticed it before...i'd say it's all about the fat soccer moms who like to drive our cars (no offence to anyone with fat soccer moms, or that ARE fat soccer moms, of course)

check it out,

excuse the nastiness of the bumper

I see what you're saying...

Heck, maybe it's the battery, steering column, something like that?? I can't really decide what would be heavy enough...

um mine doesnt do that! never even noticed till you said that, but then again i have coil overs, and i set them using a tape measurer, so i guess that would be why!lol

Umm, you may have something there, but you would really need to demonstrate that the cameras used for taking those pictures were actually held parallel with the ground surface the car was sitting on. Few people can actually hold a camera as level as a tripod. So the way the camera was held could easily account for some of those pics, but why they all seem to lean to the driver's side is beyond me...

I've had the same problem on all these cars:

89 Jetta GLI 16V

95 Nissan 200SX SE-R

98 Eclipse GS-T

01 Audi A4 1.8T

and yes, my 2003.5 P5. Like mentioned before, could it be the fact that 99% of the time, there is no one else in the car but me? I'm 5'9 and weigh about 160 so I don't think I'm fat. Really strange.

I agree with whomever said something about the camera... Both pics were taken at a slight angle to the ground, so they all appear crooked. Just look at the first picture and look at the tires, they are both exactly the same height from the floor to the bumper. It's the person taking the pic, not the car...

In the head on picture in your sig, Stealth 5, it looks like the car is leaning to the passenger side.

i rotated the picture in photoshop, it used to be to the drivers side but i guess i moved it a little too much

You can tell from the pic I modified that the tires are not even level.. this means the camera was not level so it makes the car look like it leans to the side.

If the line went from the bottom of both tires I'd believe it, but the passenger side the line is nowhere near the tire, and the drivers side looks like the line goes through the tire.

That's what I was saying. :-)

Need to take a picture of a P5 with a horizon in the back ground. I find most of my pictures I take are a little lop sided. I have to really line up the background horizon to make sure the picture is dead straight. If there is no reference point, chances are your picture will be slightly crooked.

Exactly! Its not the car.. its the person with the camera... just coincidentally seems to be leaning to the left on those few... ;)
