Protege5: Harder, not Smarter!

did you relocate your battery? I would put it in the cabin since you removed all that dash. That way, if you need a jump, you can keep a bigger battery at the house, jump it off in the cabin, get it running, then sit the battery outside of your car door and go!

Well I'm not gonna worry about it for now. This winter I probably wont be driving it around much. I'll throw the stock battery back in if I really need too. I might eventually relocate the battery to the rear of the car...this things is very tailhappy, I need to weigh it on someones 4 corner scales.

Makes for awesome trail braking though...I can almost drift it around corners I've found. lol

Haven't had windshield wipers for 2 months now. I'm now pretty accustomed to driving without them and only Rain-X. You get used to it like anything else. It's cool going around corners and watching the water go off the windscreen sideways.

Still looking around for a reasonably priced vacuum pump. I want a larger one so I can do large panels without worry.

Didn't you say that you were pulled over for your lack of outside mirrors? I suppose the officer said nothing of your lack of wipers. IMO the wipers are more important (safety wise) than side mirrors.

Keep a squeegee in your car so you can reach out your window and hit the windshield. Still weighs less than the wiper arm motor

I have a feeling you are going to end up with this (From the Carolina Mazdas Forum)

Correct. He didn't say anything about it. I have a rubber sheet over the gap its left so you can't really tell if their wipers under it or not.

Their is enough rain-x on the window where I have not had a problem. I do intend on putting back a single wiper.

Lol JDM I love it! (lol2) But you know I would never have such an un-areo body. Skin that sucker with a boat-tail! :D

Deltawing is the coollllest.

One of these days I wanna build a shifter kart....but then I get to thinking...why should I do that when I have a p5 to use instead.

I've always wanted to build a shifter cart too, for drifting

I been driving my dads ranger pickup while I pull apart the car now.

But I got a B2200 pickup in decent shape sitting around (ecu computer died) that I want to turn into some kind of ratrod drift truck on the mega cheap.

I was thinking about how fun it would be to make a streamliner motorcycle the other day. I could make a truly without compromise body for it which would be awesome. I'm just not a motorcycle fan, I like living.

Yeah living is awesome. My whole family rides Harleys and I appreciate 4 wheels on the ground. I'm not going to lay my P5 down by accident.

I've told myself, If I win the lottery, I'm going to build a fire wall behind the driver and passenger seat of the P5, gut the car, build a 20B rotary monster in the back of the car, move the gas tank to the engine bay, and build a RWD drift monster

I approve of that message. I keep telling my friends IRL that if I blow up this motor I'll seriously think about doing a rotary....I just want a rotary so damn bad, such a neat engine!
I cry when I see rx7 V8 swaps...makes me sad :(

You and me both! I love the rotary and have never driven, nor owned one. I would kill for an FD3S, but I have a wife and two kids and spending 10-15k on a 2-seater just isn't practical now. There is a drag racer Takehiro who builds rotary monsters and builds full fiberglass bodies that looks like Subarus, Mercedes, even a P5

I would kill for that car, so sweet xD
btw, someone messaged me about what tires I got, I don't know if I ever mentioned it.

Hankook Ventus R-S3 225/45ZR15 Extreme performance summer tire. (slicks with a groove cut in them to become DOT approved, DONT DRIVE FAST IN THE WET WITH THESE LOL)
15x8 Rota Slipstream - Full Royal Gun Metallic (5X114.3/e40/73)
