I bobbed and weaved, but I couldn't get much farther off the road without going into the ditch all by myself. It was about a 6' deep ravine less than 5' off the road. I was lucky the car didn't roll over as it slid in backwards.

It happened in Danbury...near Hanging Rock. I considered making it a track car, but with it being a wagon it is limited to what classes it can race in. A sedan would be a much better choice, not to mention the suspension never being right again.

So is it to early to get dibs on your parts?

I need to see what the insurance company is going to do. I'll be keeping a few things that will fit in my 1st Gen Protege.

I just did quick estimate on parts. $2,500 covers most of the main stuff. I'm sure there will be at least a few hundred dollars added to that in hardware and smaller pieces that were destroyed. We'll have to wait and see what the body shop comes up with on labor, but I have a feeling it will be totalled.
