- removable rear strut tower bar OR
- a rear strut tower bar that looks like a racing hoop rollbar [so that it doesn't interfere with rear cargo space].
- adjustible gas charged shocks [Tokico, hurry up please!]
- 4 into 1 stainless header
- a how to guide on removing that useless cruise control system
- a Ventura tray underneath the car would be nice [just kidding!]
- ABS reprogramming to make it activate very late under hard braking.
- a high performance [relatively] QUIET exhaust system like Honda's had with Mugen and RSR.
- larger and/or more efficient radiator

and what are the "gas charged shocks"?
i thought the mp3 came with the tockico gas shocks

Gas charged shocks contain I believe Nitrogen gas as well as the standard oil.

It's to prevent the oil from foaming/bubbling during it's action so that it's performance won't be affected as much as an oil only shock.

adjustable rear sway bars are available from AWR, 19mm 2 way adjustable, 19mm fully adjustable, 21.5mm full

4-2-1 headers are also available from AWR and Arospeed for the 1.6L and 2.0L engines.

I want:
more availability to agressive cams
more diversity in companis making internals and other bits like a nice intake manifold(more vendors hopefully=less cost)

Why would you want to remove cruise? unless you use it for race only or never drive for more than 30 minutes....I love my CC, from AZ to washingtom, seattle to vancouver and all the way back down it is your friend.

More affordable (around 1800) turbo kits and the addition of supercharger kits or any at all.

note* the arospeed header is the one available for both those engines and also happens to be about half the cost of AWP(not doubting AWR quality as it is top notch but, damn my pocket hurts.) at 199.95 plus shipping.

I meant cams a little more agressive than the Jspec ones but not so much as to totally kill low end power. I like a more broad power band.

They have 4-2-1 headers for the 1.6L and 2.0L like I just said 3 posts above.

you have a turbo exhaust manifold which is different. I guess you could call it a heade rand someone would know what you mean but I dont think that is right technically, i have been wrong b4 though.

Yeah, we DEFINITELY need a better intake manifold. Our stock ones SUCK.

I'd also like to see more/better cams, and perhaps some other head upgrades...such as springs, rockers, etc?

update:
sorry for the misinformation but the arospeed header is not and nvr will be available i guess. but there are more options now.

AWR header = 400 and eliminates the 1st cat
RacingMazda header 350-380 and eliminates both cats, comes with test pipe.
OBX sold a prototype header to a forum member here and supposedly will start actuall production on them in 4-6 weeks, but I doubt it, should be around 200-240 for this one when it comes out.

thats it for now, there are a couple shorty headers but those dont eliminate the first cat so you really wont gain much power there since it is that damn straw of a cat that restricts alot of our power.

A cheaper alternative for good gains would be to get a new downpipe into a catback exhaust system.

Id like to see fr the 1.6 liter Protege:

1) adjustable cam gears
2) intake/exhaust cams
3) an underdrive pulley
4) aluminum flywheel

Thats what im hopin will come about one day...... that'd be nice!!!

*Edit* They have since come out with the Cam gears and underdrive pulley kit. Srmotorsports.com offers them. I have a new wishlist......

1) A SS header
2) A beefier tranny for us Autos!!!
3) Projector headlamps for the 3rd Gen sedan
4) Some readily available cams
5) An upper Grille!!
6) Maybe a little more reasonably priced turbo kit for the 3rd Gen 1.6 liter
