Protege Passenger Side Engine Mount Replacement Install How-to

Had to replace a broken motor mount on my 2000 Mazda Protege. Did a video so that all can see. If you plan on replacing the mount go to the dealer and buy it from them. It comes all as one piece and is drop in. A lot easier than going to a local auto parts store for a generic one. And it was only 20 bucks more well worth it. Enjoy!

Good job.

What I did was to fill it in with polyurethane (window weld from Autozone) for $20.00. I also had enough to fill in the drivers side mount on the bottom.

With the money I saved I bought a engine support bar from Harbor Freight for $60.00. I didn't like the idea of slightly supporting the engine from the oil pan as I believe this will affect the oil pan gasket.

Is there another way to support the engine than under the oil pan ?
