Msp uses the same motor as any other 2.0 protege including ours, if all you want is 170 chp that's pretty easy. Msp only makes 140-150 at the wheels. If you do some research the fsze made 170 hp at the crank. The only difference is pistons, intake manifold, cams, and header
If you get cams, pistons, full exhaust,adjustsable cam gears, and an ssafc you should be able to get 150 whp out of it
