Protege = FWD or RWD?

Come on... I think he`s just screwin` around. If you guys really aren`t, some of you guys sound pretty serious about being pissed off. If you really are pissed off about it, man, lighten up. I think the point of the thread was to make fun of the deal that he posted, the tips on figuring out if your car is FWD/RWD? Maybe not that funny, but still...

But what fun is this forum if you can't take EVERYTHING completely seriously?? (shocked) (shocked)

i thought it was somewhat funny, but i can't give out rep for some reason. the rep thing is a # link, as in doesn't do s*** but take me to the top of the page

Yeah the rep system is still broken after the upgrade.

I think a lot of people just misread jonlong's sarcasm and get a little too angry about it. (ughdance)

(peep)

OMFG I was sold a RWD car and now I find out it's actually FWD??!! I want my money back.

I think a lot of people get too angry/pissed off about a lot of things. Mazda Forums = NO sense of humor what so ever...
I kind of wish my car was RWD some time, driving RWD is more funner. <-- I know that`s not correct, it`s FUNNY...

My version:

1) rev engine to 3500 rpms
2) drop clutch

Haha, I'm glad that these most recent posts seem to actually understand the thread. It was just a funny article (serious in it's own domain) that I thought I'd share. If you don't like this thread...my apologies. And for those of you who are dissapointed to find out that the protege is not RWD, follow JCell's lead and drive in reverse.

Was the article in a magazine or on some web site?

Damn, I just spent all weekend turning my seats around, flipping the dash & hooking the steering up correctly so that my P5 is rear engine rear wheel drive. And now y'all say it was supposed to be the way it was? Too late now, I'm leaving it that way!

(rlaugh) Damn, all this time I thought it was AWD!

this whole time, I thought our cars were 1 wheel drive... now i know the truth. thank you.

Just wait until someone with a Sport20 comes to this thread...

If you dont know if the car you purchased is FWD, AWD or RWD...maybe you should get back on your bicycle...
