so yea im being told that its totaled...we will see when the adjuster sees it....might have a part out comming? anywho yea, got in a wreck on the interstate heading into new orleans tonight around 11.

edit: so i guess ill explain what happened...

i was going down the interstate comming up on some traffic...i got over into the exit lane for my exit. i was following the ford ranger that i hit, another truck went flying around us and infront of us and slammed on the brakes cause he decided he wanted to get back onto the interstate. well chain reaction...i locked up the brakes and slammed into the back of the ranger...his rear end was sitting ontop of my car....

Dude...Really not feeling that its totalled....You need a new bumper, core support, right fender, bumper support, headlight, fender hanger and some frame pull....I don't think they will total it....What model is yours...year and milage....They might if it only books for about $7K or so though.

if you look under the hood theres a s*** load of damage...a pulley was broken off and all fluid lines up front broken...raidiator broken...and the engine looks kinda tilted...

i have a 03 dx 5 speed with about 39k miles...books for 8k i think? ill look it up.

yeah that looks REAL similar to what my speed looked like when i wrecked it. mine was $9k but included intercooler/turbo/cf hood/cf grill. looks like you got hit in the same exact spot i did too. if it is totalled though one of the guys here just told me tonight he's sellin his silver msp. around $13k with under 30k miles. good luck with whatever happens

Well you radiator and lines I am sure are toast..and as far as the tilted motor..I would expect it considering the location of the front motor mount....and the core support damage....I still dont think its totalled...Trust me...it takes quite a bit to total a car...Look at what happened to mine. I still got the hood if its not though.

hrm...i wasnt really looking to get another protege due to all the problems but who knows...i might.
