It's on Eibach-Pro's with tokico blues...GHOSTWHISPER said:drop the eg , wheel gap kills kittens.
I wanted the shadows in the picture, I thought I'd try something different.Micah said:The car is clean - I don't see any dirt. But you've got to work on your picture taking skills.
Pointers:
- no shadows should be on the car, if you want to get some kewl metal posts in the shot, just back the protege up a little so that the shadows end before the car.
- hold the camera level, shoot up or down, but not an off 45 degree angle. It's distracting and ruins the geometry of the photo
- reflections of interesting objects are kewl, reflections of you holding a camera are not
Oh, and for what it's worth, I don't think your car looks totally riced out. It's a bit on the way, but not horrible. Some people are being a little harsh about it, so I thought I would say that. Lose the stickers, and the roof rack. The rims aren't quite right either. They look like the stock 16" rims on a 2001/2002 as they were before the 2002.5. The Eibach sticker is another thing that kind of bugs me. Why advertise it's Eibach?
IMNSHO - the best looking modified cars don't look modified. That is to say that the fit and finish should look fresh from the showroom floor. The body of the car looks fine.
Oh, and what is with the front windows being down??

Sometimes it is benefital to hold the camera at odd angles so that more car fits in the picture. As long as it is shot in "thirds" I'm really not too worried about the angles.
I put a picture of my reflection in there because it just shows how reflective the hood is. It's a neat hood.
I'm not really sure how my car is on the way to being riced out. All the stickers are pretty stupid on purpose, or inside jokes. The rims ARE the 2002's but painted. I really like the 2002 wheels and they can hold a wide tire (205's) and are relatively light. I don't have a roof rack...
The only thing that's changed since the pictures is the cool ass pirate sticker is gone and it has JDM tails now.
Nope, the tails come with the bulbs and harness already to go. You just have to pop the interior panels where the tail lights go and unclip the old and hook in the new. There are about 4 screws you'll see little cut outs for but you still need to bend that interior panel back to unclip the wiring thing. Takes about 15 minutes to change to JDM tials. Shipped from corksport.com it was like $208.Dim said:Do the JDM tails take the same bulbs. Was it "hard" to rewire?
Cool. I was under the impression that they use an extra bulb on the bottom. Is that true? So the new harness must then take care of that.Replica said:Nope, the tails come with the bulbs and harness already to go. Yeah, there's an extra bulb but the harness provides for it. You wont even have to make considerations for it. Just plug in the harnessDim said:Cool. I was under the impression that they use an extra bulb on the bottom. Is that true? So the new harness must then take care of that.
These are a must have![]()
Yay! This will be my next purchase! Thanks.Replica said:Yeah, there's an extra bulb but the harness provides for it. You wont even have to make considerations for it. Just plug in the harness
yeah, they're bronze now. No, no more SHSU for me, I coudn't take it anymore! I'm on the northside of houston now.Noxide said:Hey replica....looking good. did you paint your rims again? They were black right? They look good.
You still at Sam?
If so we should get together to take some pics sometime.
im not sure what you expect ...GHOSTWHISPER said:drop the eg , wheel gap kills kittens.
I wanted one of those, but it was hard to find. The ones I looked at were destroyed. The throw of the transmission was *much* shorter than on a protege though...pretty coolHangNail said:thanks =)
