finally got 'em back from the powdercoater. The silver turned out just a smidge darker than I was imagining...but damn if they havent grown on me since.

Stock struts, Tein S-tech springs and my new and improved 17x6.5" Mazda 3 rims with 205/45 Falken Ziez 912's

sry if the pics are dark, the sun had drifted over and beyond the car by the time I got outside ><

i thought 17's u needed 40 series.....any rubbing issues?? btw its good..

well, according to some 215/45's will work (ala the MSP) but most everyone says that no issues will arise from 215/40's or 205/45's...and I'd rather have the butt-saving sidewall than the width of a 215.

So far no rubbing even on bumps with the rears seats filled and 2 subs in the back.

I was under the impression that 215's will bubble on the 6.5" rim. That is what I was told when I bought tires for my mazda 3 wheels. Any truth to that?

I got some of those for my sedan. I was told the same thing about the 215's possibly bubbling. I went with 205/40's only because I got a super good deal on them. Come mid summer I will be painting them black.

i was nervous about black rims on my car (with the tint, it might come off as too much)....but now that i have spare OEM rims, I may repaint those black and put some blizzaks on them for the winter.

its either that or give my girlfriend a heartattack and paint 'em gold! woo lol

hehe...a drop would do wonderful things to that car.

I got my "sports exhaust" axle-back on last week...just needs to stop raining long enough for me to clean it and take some more pics

Those mazda 3 wheels look twice as good when the car is lowered! I think I need to lower my car!
