Besides if you really want an electric turbo/supercharger, why not go with one off of a mercedes? Works all the time, a lot better quality, about the same price, no extra batteries, and it would actually work. I know of a guy who did that with a civic. Guess its pretty fast.

What nitrous system you use, fast trip? I'm in the market, as well as some other engine mods.
i have a friend with a gto, its ****** awesome. the interior is really great and comes with nice leather seats. its all electric too! They used a lot of nice materials on the interior, its unbelieveable that its a domestic car. the radio is nice, its and indash 6 disc changer, and the stock speakers are really nice as well. they have really good deep base. i think it gets its base by 2 6x9's in the back window that have a huge box enclosed around them behind the back seats.
oh ya, some of the bad points... because of that huge box the trunk isnt as big as it looks. the glove box is pretty small compared to the porteges (well our glovebox's eat everything tho). if you get this years model its kinda plain jane lookin, but some ppl like that. also the drive shaft is linked together in the middle somehow.. like 2 peices, so from what my friend has told me that driveshaft cant take too much more power or it will break... they do make an aftermarket upgrade tho. you can find it on one of the drift gto's sites, really expensive tho... like 3k for the powertrain upgrade...
on another note, the 350hp is really badass! my friend got the automatic version so i dont no how the stick handles, but i have to admit the auto is still ****** awesome. id wait on next years model, more power and a revamped image. they're also coming out with a lot of neat upgrades that will put the gto in the 500+hp N/A range!!!

yes the GTO is the australian holden monaro with a bit of work to meet american standards...not that we have lesser standards, just different ones. ie the fuel tank had to be moved because the australian car's tank wasnt far enough forward to meet american standards

I'm pretty sure that just because Ford owns Aston Martin, Jaguar, and Rover, doesnt mean Ford made them. Ford couldn't make a car of those caliper ever.
American car companys have been on this trend now for about 10yrs or so. They made ass loads of money off of ignorant americans that thought or were brainwashed into thinking that American made was the best there was. Well since the other car companys have started to pull large amounts of sales from them they do what every pathetic person with too much money does. If you can't make a better product then them, just buy their company!

im no American car guy nut, i love imports... but nowadays, they're really not considered imports when the parts are made in mexico and the final assembly takes place somewhere in the states.
the GTO is an awesome car, i dont really care who made it to begin with. right now its being made by GM, and they are doing one hell of a job on the interior and exterior. all around the GTO has got to be one of the best cars on the streets that still retains a lot of its functionality for what u could need in a car.

What Supercars are you talking about, exactly? The Jaguar xj-220? Ford parts? I doubt it. And by the way, Jaguar has gone STRAIGHT to hell since Ford bought them. Their quality and reliabilty and fit/finish have all gone to s*** in the last few years.GreenPic said:

Anyway, this "supercharger" is a total waste of money. If you guys want a good S/C for a decent price, just wait a few more weeks and Matty will hopefully be done with his.
By the way, his wife recently got a 3s, so, knowing him, he'll probably get another kit in development soon.
Also, the kit designed for the Protege should bolt right up to the 2.0 in the 3i.
