Protecting plastic panels in rear cargo area...?

So we bought a brand spankin' new shiny awesome cool '10 Sport 3 weeks ago.
After our first long road trip, I can already tell the plastic panels in the back cargo area are goiing to get scratched and scarred up pretty quickly. This has happened in my Protege5, they look aweful from years of misc hardsided thing rubbing against them. In many, er, "higher priced" vehicles those areas are often cloth or vinyl or rubberized plastic so that they absorb impacts, scrapes, etc.

Are there any products or aftermarket covers or anything made vehicle-specific to cover these? I'm thinking like vinyl covers or something.
I know I could cut some vinyl sheeting and glue it on, but I'd rather not jump into something so permanent on a brand new car.

I have two blankets. Normally, one is back there for my dog to lay on and to keep dog hair out of the carpet-like material. I have another that is a clean backup for the dog. If I haul things that will scratch the plastics (i.e., gun cases, bed frames, etc.) then I use the clean blanket to keep things from rubbing the sides. I haul all kinds of stuff and have not a single scratch.

^^ Hey thanks. That's pretty cool, but also pricey. Well, considering the OEM cargo cover cost I guess this thing is OK.

I've got one of these coming (see attached picture):

http://www.classicaccessories.com/product_detail.aspx?pid=293&cid=10

Ordered it about 10 days ago, but it's on back-order.

Size is:

59"L (from back of seat to door)
47"W (at hanging point of seat)
63"W (at back door)

I'm hoping it's big enough to cover some of the side panels, as it's wider towards the back part of it.

It folds up and fits in its own attached carry-bag.

When I get it, I'll post a pic of how it fits the back of the M5 (pic below is not a M5).
