Yikes..I'm in the minority here. I say no for several reasons including the fact that if you need to pay for sex, you don't deserve to get it.
So, if women don't find you attractive, you're not allowed to have pleasure? Give me a break. What are you gonna say next, women that have problems with their eggs can't adopt and aren't deserving of raising children?

Just playing the other side on this :D

I know alot of people that get it that don't deserve too. I am sure you can think of some aswell. How does one become deserving of sex? Does a 32 year old scoping out 15 year old girls deserve sex? What about a women purely after a mans money or vise versa. Sex can not be segragated to the deserving.

Now...if she hunts you down and ***** you for your money...that's different. You didn't go out looking.
So if you go to a prostitute, thats bad. But if she comes to you, thats ok? Where do I sign up for that monthly service? :D

Other reasons...infidelity is dishonesty...that's the one thing I can't tolerate in a relationship.
Whos saying that prostitution is for the married man? I'll be honest, I know a few guys that have frequented several houses of prostitution. Some are married, others aren't. Immorality on the basis of marrage is not logical as nothing says a married man must cheat with a prostitute or that he will. Not to mention Infedelity laws are still inplace.

And, yes folks, STDs...
Population and Genetics control...we need more of that not taxes

I am whole heartedly against *more government* and telling people what to do.
Isn't outlawing prostitution telling people what to do? Also consider the police, judges and lawyers that are payed by tax dallors to deal with prostitutes and Johns.

Look at how many ugly ***** still found somebody to marry...or just ****. I went to school with a lot of uglier people than me...I'm nothing to look at. But am I gonna hold it against the uglies that they found each other and **** like bunnies? NO!

Besides that, you're trying to make a parallel between things that aren't related. I am not questioning whether or not unattractive or annoying people can have sex or are even good at it. It's obvious that they can, will, and do. Just like women that have to adopt can, will, and do raise children well.

What I *am* saying, is that you should not have to go out and *look* to pay for a **** with nearly 300mil people out there in the US...I just don't think it's moral. That's my opinion. I'm entitled to it, so chill out.

I could take it to another level and say that if no one is willing to **** you then it's just plain natural selection, but that's cold and I don't think it's really the case. Everyone is deserving to recieve an offer of pleasure...but I just don't like the idea of buying what you *think* you can't get. It's against my work ethic...although, we are capitalist pigs, so I guess that idea fits perfectly into the culture. :)

yeah...I know plenty that didn't deserve it in my subjective opinion. But they got it, so someone thought they deserved it. So, by deduction, everyone is deserving to get it from someone who is willing. I just don't like the idea of paying for it.

So if you go to a prostitute, thats bad. But if she comes to you, thats ok? Where do I sign up for that monthly service? :D

yeah...basically. It's not that you went out looking, right? :D But that's the idea of the sugar daddy...we've seen it, and while I think it shows weak character on both parts, it's not so bad as soemthing like the Hugh Grant situation mentioned above. That's really where I get pissed.

I don't mean to imply that only married men use it, but that's the part of it that pisses me off most. I don't like the idea of cheating at all...cheating involves being underhanded, lying and disguising your actions. I am ok with the idea of open relationships that involve total disclosure and have set guidelines...it's not for me, but I appreciate the honesty.

Population and Genetics control...we need more of that not taxes

OK...mr. live free or die...you say this here, but then agree below that less Gov't is the idea. You can't do this kinda s*** because you are taking away people's freedoms. That doesn't mean that I like some of the allowed freedoms...in fact I think some of this s*** is disgusting. NAMBLA and all that other stuff...just ick, seen?

You failed to quote all of my last line: "... I'm not going to push for legalizing it because it doesn't affect me and is against most (but not all) of the moral fibers in my body." So...I'm not going to go out of my way to strike it down, because people can live their lives how they want. But it's also my right to hold an opinion and to think what I want of people based on their actions...and that's all I'm expressing here.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

I never said that I had problems obtaining pleasure. I was just stating how stupid the statement made was. I was expressing my opinion just as you were entitled. So I'll chill out when I ******* want to.

Keep in mind, I am having fun with this one only, I really could care less.

if anyone thinks that marriage will be a lost institution in society...you people do realize its legal practically everywhere else in the world and people still get married on a regular basis. Also if the hookers were tested for disease periodically, the john would be less likely to share the flora and fauna of the prostitute's gloryhole with their spouse.

You took what I said completely out of context, so I explained it. I don't think I made a stupid comment. I said, that if you *have* to go out and look to pay for sex, I don't think you are deserving. I don't go up to people I don't know after having heard them say one thing (not even a full conversation) and call them a moron for saying it. So I have to wonder if you have something against me, or if you're judging me with out a fair chance.

Once again, though...you have taken my response out of context as well. I never brought into question whether you had trouble getting any. I only said to chill out because you reacted so sharply to my initial comment.

Hey hey! It's SodaTron! Don't worry about marriage...it'll survive one way or another. Like I said...I'm not going to push for something that I disagree with on principal to become legalized...but I'm not gonna stand against it. I'm a neutral here.
