Prosport Boost gauge wiring issue Help needed

So i installed my Prosprot Premium boost gauge this weekend and the constant amber lighting feature does not work, the constant white lighting works fine and the gauge functions perfectly, but when i have it wired up for for the amber light the gauge does not work. anyway called tech support at Prosport and the guy told me i may not be getting enough juice for the amber feature, so he suggested another sorce, im currently running my aux. power wire off of the cig. lighter. do you guys have any other suggestions? should i jumper ou tof the fuse box, or run it off the stereo. were and wire colors would be helpfull. thanks.

Check where you're tapping the voltage from. It should be a blue wire. You might also look for the "rear accessory socket". It's a pink wire.

my accessory wire is tapped into the blue wire on the cig. lighter. maybe ill try the pink one instead. thanks. any other ideas are welcome as well.
