I am relatively new to a manuel car. I have had my MSP since June and have a around 5,000 miles of experience so far. Anyways, my question is in regards to shifting gears. Is it proper to fan out the clutch while slowly adding gas or should I be completely off the clutch before I start to add gas again.

And just so I dont have to repost, is there anything else I should know about with a turbo car than the basics.

here is my technique
As my engine nears a point I will shift at I without clutch pull the transmission out of gear( this is fine for the tranny)
thena as I put it into gear I kick the clutch and let the tranny go into gear
p.s. this happens EXTREMLY quickly

I feather 1st(or course), then a little in 2nd, after that you really don't need to feather the clutch because you probably won't even feel a jerk during normal driving.
