yea, i just kinda finally figured that out after being on here for FIVE years... got a decent sized pic for the mazda of the month.

It's the black piece that runs under the radiator from the bottom of the bumper and it's also connected to the tire well on both sides of the car. I can't find the link, but you told me I was gonna need one when i replaced my ES bumper. The bumper reinforcement has been changed, but since the msp bumper is lower, this particular piece isn't attached. I took a pic; I'll post it this evening...I think it's some kind of splash guard.

U guys are great! Since it's not connected to the bumper I had to cut part of it off (part of it was hanging low and rubbing the tire). I'm almost finished with my conversion also...just need to get the rear lip and get my side skirts painted and installed. Now I gotta figure out what I'm gonna need other than the intercooler and fuel management...aaaaahh!!!!!

Update: I will be swapping to 5 lugs soon, and I have MP3 front and rear seats coming.

Waiting on some parts, should be here mid-week. New goal is next weekend to have the swap done.

Oh, and I am getting an EDM variable wiper stalk so I can control the wiper speed. P5's can use one off other US mazda models, but sedan owners have to get the EDM one.

I have the dash, carpet, door panels and other trim from a P5 I stripped. Over the winter I will be swapping that in. Since my car came w/o power windows,locks,etc. it will take a while to rewire everything. I kept the P5 doors so I can swap the internals over to mine.

LOL. Actually, I am thinking about keeping it wingless and having the body shop mold a 3rd brakelight into the rear trunk. If someone were to *cough cough* give me a sand mica 03.5 spoiler, I could be convinced to change my mind
