Just curious but how come the interior was left red?

I was going to spray some sound deadening stuff and also no one will see it.

Your project looks amazing! My only question is how do you intend to protect the impeller of the turbo from crap bein kicked up from other cars on the road?

I have a filter that goes on front of that... and its not a wire mesh. actual cone filter. Will post pics later of that.

Some photos from my journey to SEMA 2012..

Later found out that the 350Z was in the caravan with one of my rotary friend from NYC... Manny who owns this FD.

I've known Manny for many years and one of the few rotorheads who's been in FD's for over 10 years. I think he had his FD since 1994??

Anyhow, 3 day trip to Vegas, we saw several of these..

Just went through the entire thread. Amazing build.

I did see in the engine bay shots that the wheel wells have large openings into the engine bay. Any plans for custom metalwork to close those off to protect all that sexyness in the bay?

Great pics and stories.

Thanks!
I love this car! Amazing work!

Thank you!

Thanks! I actually do have some plans to remedy that issue. Initially we were going to make a fiberglass/CF part but just didn't have enough time. As I'm getting the car more street/track ready, I'll be addressing the that issue.
