Production Number?!?!!?!?

I called Mazda Canada and they said that they didn't have access to find out my production #....even with my VIN #.....they actually told me that they have no way of knowing...supposedly, they even called Japan and they didn't have it either...How did u guys get ur numbers??

Thanks Kelli..unfortunately everytime I call that number they tell me to call Mazda Canada...Is there any other way of finding out?? Any Canadians out there find out how to get their production #??

The same for me. I tried to get my production number via Mazda Canada and they said they doesn't have it. Our car was made in USA and they don't have the production number in Canada. When we call at Mazda US, they find automaticaly that the number where we call from are from Canada and they automaticaly direct us to Mazda Canada!!!

This sucks...we get penalized because we live in Canada..NO WAY..I WILL FIND OUT HOW TO GET THE PRODUCTION # if it's the last thing I do.. )..

It may be a old thread, but i just got my MP3 and i have the same problem. I say it's between the 1500-1750 (the last 250 built).

I saw someone write it was made in the USA, but mine says Japan. Woult that be made in japan, assembled in the US?

Yeah it does.. im not sure how they do it .. just ship the shell and MazdaUSA or Mazda Canada assemble the rest im not sure.. you should be able to call MazdaUSA to confirm your production number.

we cannot call mazda usa because all it does is say we should call mazda canada! it's automated.
