problem that just started for me

Well this started last night right before I got to work. My drive to work is about an hour and for the most part the ride was normal ( besides the god forsaken rain). After I got off the highway and tried accelerating off the ramp the car started bucking like there was some fuel cut which hasn't happened since I bought the car back in september. Now when I am driving and try laying on the gas the car seems to cut out and buck and when I let off the car almost stalls out, also I noticed that my HKS ssqv bov isn't going off like it should. Before I got off the highway it was going off fine with the whistle and all , now for the most part it sounds like just air being released but not alot. The vacuum line are all on tight and they are getting plenty of suction so I am running out of causes for this. Would these symptoms happen if the air filter got wet? I know there were a few large puddles on the highway that could have gotten up to the filter even though I have it set up as SRI ?

did you check all your couplings to make sure they were all on tight? If it is only in boost then I feel there is a leak somewhere. Are you dual set-up BOV and BPV, maybe a broken BPV nipple off the hot pipe? One time I had a coupling that was just slipping enough to release air under boost and then it would settle right back onto the pipe when off boost so it would idle and light drive fine, took me awhile to figure it out since it would run fine under inspection.

I'll have to check in the morning . I am running a dual setup atm and I checked the bpv its fine and so is the hks so I'll just check the couplers in the morning hope thats all it is .

well it looks like the coupler that connects to the throttlebody came off while driving so I just have to put it back on.

that's good to hear, I hope that solves your problem I can't imagine that it could be something else.
