Problem or normal?

Not sure if this is the right area. But I have two issues. I sit in my car a lot and listen to music on down time. Engine is not running. I press the start button once just so the music turns in. After a certain amount if time it shuts off by itself. I thought my battery died. But it happened a few tines now. I assume security feature so the battery doesn't die?

Second thing. I have my car set on auto lock. Or lock on walk away. When I have my phone plugged into the USB port charging. It never auto locks. Is this a glitch?

First point is normal. I guess it protects the battery, I used to use my car to listen to music while I work on my mountain bike in the garage, but not anymore with the CX5.

Don't know about the second point, but the first is normal. It happens to me all the time. I think I saw it mentioned in the manual somewhere, it's about 10 minutes and then the car shuts everything off. A battery protection scheme. Also does the same for the headlights in the non-auto mode (which is good, when I first got the car I left the headlights on all the time - now I just leave it on auto permanently)

Battery saver
If any door or the liftgate is left opened, the light goes out after about 30 minutes to save the battery.
For vehicles with audio (On-screen function type), the following function settings can be changed by the customer.
Illumination entry
The time required for the interior lamp to turn off automatically can be changed (prevents battery depletion when a door is open/ajar)
Factory Setting: 30 minutes
Available Settings: 60 minutes/10 minutes
