It's got a bung hole for a temp sensor

not to sure what that does, can i fix it or does it even need to be fixed?

You can see the hole here. Also, noticed you'll need to use your rubber grommet out of the stock intake for the temp sensor on the lower part if you do use the full CAI tubing
