If you read through the link he posted, it shows you where to cut a notch in the lip so you can bend it around, but if yours is plastic it may not
bend enough :-/

Are you talking about the splitter/lip for the MSP that I modified for my P5? Or are you talking about the Accord lip? If you have any questions about the MSP lip on my How-To, PM me and I'll help you out as much as I can. Regardless, I would think even a plastic lip would still have some flex in it. Perhaps you could use a heat gun to bend it around the corners.

yeah i talkin bout the accord lip. yeah i was thinking bout using a heat gun but i dont wanna mess it up. not to bad tho cus he get like 3 of the same lip and he sells it to me for like 40 a piece so can always buy another one and try again. lol

Ahh, gotcha. Well, maybe you can cut some notches out of the Accord lip so it will bend a bit easier? Like I did for the MSP lip.

Yea, I wish I would of known of the Accord lip earlier...I would have done that a long time ago seeing as there is one in our driveway...

I think it looks like it fits ok, nice and clean. But in my opinion something looks off, that lip makes a protege look like..... well... a Honda!

This is an inexpensive option too, if you are interested in a subtle front lip. $185 shipped and all the info is in my How-To.

My accord lip cost $15. (lol2)

I agree. I'd rather stay stock than put on parts that don't fit right.

You make them fit right. ;)

Mine fits well, but I'm gonna **** with it again this summer, and shave it down, extend it and wrap it around the back of the bumper. You just have to be patient and look outside the box. (hippy)

can you do me a HUGE favor? can you post some pics of the sides where the lip meets the fender wheel well? (to show how short it is at the ends) also, can you measure the distance around the lip, from end to end? (starting at one end, and measure all the way around the front to the other end?)

thanks :D

Hey ucMP3, can you take some shots of underneath on how you mounted it? did you have to cut away any of the plastic??

Cheers
Marc

I think I've cut more than others, and I plan on doing a bit more... I have some pics of when I first test mounted it, it's been cut & adjusted since, but it will give you the general idea...
