I wish somebody would make a model of our cars.

i've written to several chinese manufactures, and was willing to front the start up costs of several thousand units, not one replied?

Nice! I just checked my collection and found that I do infact have 2 Audacious cars. I forgot about my collection in the attic. Wahoo, now I can make a silver version. Yes I know...how thrilling.

sure, spent my summers growing up (if that's what you call it) in yarmouth port, hyannis, dennis post, wareham (off cape) why you ask?

I too grew up on the Cape. I went to Barnstable High. I live in Centerville now. Make any trips down here?

as a matter of fact i'll be down the cape this fri. going down rte 6a then over to creame n cone in dennis for lunch.

oh ya, check out the NEPOC page!!(thumb)

Sweet! 6a is a great ride. So many curves. Shhhh....don't tell anyone else about it. (hehe) I find the Corvette and Porsche clubs constantly driving it.

Cream n Cone has some excellent food. We go there every now and then to get our fill of "grease". Love the onion rings.

I think we hijacked this thread....I'll cruise over to NEPOC to continue. Maybe we can meet up Friday?

The transformation is complete. This marks my first Hot Wheels complete modification. If I had another I would make it a convertible because inside is some great detail on a full audio system. I'll post a link to photos of the process later.

man thats sooooo cool, now i want one!

If anyone is interested, I would be willing to make you one for a very small fee. You would need to supply the car and I would match it to the color of your choice, along with other slight modifications depending on the complexity. Send a PM.

View the photo gallery transformation.

I'm sorry, it just doesnt look like a P5 to me. You did a good job painting it however.

I did a search on the net and this Hot Wheels car is often listed as being a FORD...

Hot Wheels #2003-044. #32/42

Hmmm, well Ford ownes Mazda. I would say that this car is a concept. The designers combined many aspects of the P5 with other ideas. Too me the headlights, grill, 4 door hatchback, upper body lines and interior resemble the P5. Basically it looks too me like a P5 with a wide body kit and taillight conversion.

I agree about the taillights, def. not P5.

oh man, i have almost the entire 2004 collection, minus the tomahawk (didn't feel like ebaying). i think i DO have that audacious in my misc collections cuz i picked up a bunch of 03s while looking for the 04s at KBtoys and that should be among them. other ones i found in the 03 collection, enzo, Si, HKS widebody altezza, talon, charger, gto, mustang, n a really awesome f150, all with some of the most exaggerated turbos n supercharger.

btw am i reviving a dead thread... oh well.
