07 CX9 Grand Touring FWD
I ran across a dealer on Ebay selling a relatively loaded 08 GT with navi, roof, tow, etc. that listed for $40+ at $30k buy it now. I do like our CX-9, but that was my concern with the Mazda. Their resale or ability to hold any value is weak. They don't appear to be selling this model well at all or at least in my area. Just an observation. I was debating between this and the Pilot when I bought 1 1/2 years ago and this one won. I always look to resale value since I never keep my cars too long. This one looks like it will have to be a keeper until the wheels literally fall off.

Heck yeah they are cheap now. I just picked up a brilliant black sport 2wd for $21.7k.
It isn't anything to do with this vehicle; rather, it's the entire SUV range is taking a huge hit.

I bought mine back when they were first hitting the lots and I got about $3500 off which was fantastic then.

Well, for example, there's a local one here that's MSRP is $35k, and the dealer's asking price is $28,900.

Mazda is currently running its finance promotion, 0.0% for 36 or 1.9% for 48 and 60 months, but in lieu of that, dealers can also receive $3500 in customer cash that can be applied to the price of the vehicle.

For the one I mentioned, if you sell at invoice (roughly $32.5k) and then take the customer cash ($3500), that puts you at $29k + ttl.

For all you Canadians out there they are now offering a $7000 discount instead of low rate finnancing on remaining 2008's. My dealer only has 3 left, but I'm sure some dealers still have a few.

Just in!

In addition to the huge rebates already in place - you will receive an additional $500 Owner Loyalty Bonus Cash to put toward the purchase or lease of a 2008 Mazda CX-7, CX-9, and the all new 2009 Mazda 6!.

This offer is nationwide.

Picking up a CX-9 awd sport with a power seat and roof Rails for 23470 + TTL and $75 doc fee ~ $8500 off MSRP, the question is to go for the moonroof and Bose pack, I asked and they tacked it on for $1760 more (the full msrp) but I see the invoice of $1514 which is a bit higher then we want. I am hopeing to get the same % discount (26.6) on the accessory pack getting it more like $1300 and leverage my trade a bit better (currently offered $500 less than KBB trade). Will keep you posted - excited to get the new addition (dance)

Have you guys checked the SUV market in general, they are selling 2006-2007 Escalades for 25-35 G's let alone mazdas that are cheaper.

Now is a great time to buy just about any vehicle. Last night I bought a new 2008 C6 Corvette. MSRP was $55,700; I got it for $47,800!

Bought my wife an '08 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited AWD 2 weeks ago for $5.5K off MSRP.

Got a great deal on my CX-9 last Nov too.

Just picked up mine today. It was a battle but it was well worth the 3hr negotiation struggle.

'08 CX-9 GT White Pearl Mica
Sticker: $38205
Purchase Price: $29500

Not too shabby which included lifetime oil changes and a year of car washes :)

Hi. What's a realistic price to pay for a 2008 GT AWD with GT assist pkg, Moonroof/Bose pkg, Sirius Sat, Auto dim mirror, Remote start?

MSRP is around $41K
Edmunds TMV is $38254

Thanks.

How much were the fees, those might as well be part of the price, only Destination, Tax, Title and License are usually not negotiable.

Free car washes sound great, that will keep your ride looking good if the dealer is close and if it is fast.

I got the touring with MSRP of 31,615. I got it for 22,174 which is 9,441 below sticker. I also had to pay $400 in dealer prep +TTD, so it depends on how you count the $s you could say it was 9k below sticker. It did take some negotiation, almost walked out 3 times but what the hell, they threw in a baseball cap and t-shirt.

The dealer paid full KBB trade (rated as good) in value for my car which was not worth much in the first place (3k), so that may have helped the deal since they could resell it for another 2k profit, if I sold it I think I could have done 1k better then there trade in offer, it was a piece of crap and I did not want the next owner coming to me to complain.

BTW I got it on the last sales day for the month which probibly helped

Sorry. Tax, Title, License, Dest Fee.

We went for a test drive today. Was not even going to talk about price. Sales manager immediately told me that he can "get me in a car for $10k or more off the sticker"
I get S-Plan, so now i need to figure out if wait for 09 is worth the difference in price.

Go for the '08

Purchased my GT All Wheel Drive, Crystal White Pearl Mica w/ Sand Interior, GT Assist Package, Mooroof/Bose CD Package, Towing Package (MSRP $41,105) at a little over $37k (w/ S-plan) plus 1.9% APR for 60 days. Picked up the car last Tuesday in San Diego. Love it!!!

If you can get 10k off MSRP on an '08 with a similar package, that trumps ANY S-plan deal you can get. Besides, no significant changes for the '09 model.

08 GT AWD with GT assist/Moonroof/Bose/Blind spot mon/Towing/Compass/Roof rails

MSRP $40835
Invoice $37830
With 1.9% 60 mo financing... $37230
With cash/own financing.... $33230

Add about 10% for taxes/title fees.

Any comments? Thanks.
