Hey guys, I've had my MP5 for two weeks now and really like it. Got about 500 miles on it. I only found out about the car one week before I bought it and quickly decided it was the one for me. Went in with the newspaper ad and had bought the car within two hours. No fuss, no muss. Cost me $14,995 + TT&L = $16,144. I thought they were going to jerk me around even with the price printed in black and white, but the guy said all base models were that price. Plus, I looked broke as sh*t and so did my ex-gf, who was with me. During the test drive, one of them snuck out and looked at my old car, which caused them to take [further] pity on me. They offered me $200 for it. LOL. It's going to charity.
It didn't hurt that we're in a screwed-up economy and it was end-of-year. If anyone of you know someone that needs a new car, this seems like a very good time to buy. I got mine at Town North Mazda in Richardson, TX. It was a very smooth transaction, except for the finance guy, who in so many words called me an idiot for paying cash for the car when I could get 0% if I paid just $1,000 more for the car than what I'd agreed to. Geez... I'm going to get him on the owner satisfaction survey.
Anyway, I thought I'd post this in case there are lurkers out there thinking about buying. Act fast, the year is almost over.
