I wanted to know if there is a better aftermarket kit then Scosche or Metra. The reason I ask this is because on my Honda Fit, it was know that the colors would not match exactly the factory color. So the best was to buy the OEM navi bezel from Honda. Is there a similar problem with Mazda? Thanks!

Is there an aftermarket kit for the Mazda5, other than Metra or Scosche? I just use the Metra kit that Crutchfield sent to me when I bought new radio - works well enough for me.

Difference between Metra and Scosche

I think you have only those two options.

I have 2010 Mazda 5 sport. I bought a aftermarket double DIN stereo/nav/gps/ipod unit from Ebay. This unit is exactly 7" x 4". Initially, I purchased Scosche MA1538B dash kit from Sonic Electronix. However, opening of Scosche unit is smaller (6- 3/4" x 3- 7/8"). So I returned the unit and bought Metra 99-7509. Well, it's opening is bigger than 7"x4". But it does not come with 5 plastic snap connectors that would secure the cover to the car. I removed connectors from my original unit and used in this Metra cover. It is lighter than the factory finish. I am planing to spray black paint on my Metra cover to get a nice blend. Both units came with attachments for single DIN and double DIN mounting. Scosche cover had a better finish than Metra.
