If it were detonation, wouldn't the spark plugs be fouled though? I posted a few pics of mine when I changed them, and everyone said they were in normal operation condition.turboge said:
Not sure if this makes sense, but it almost sounds like a tire is losing grip. Like I am just strating to break traction. It does it towards the end of the rpm range. Well, I guess once I start boosting. Could it be a boost leak?

Maybe you are breaking traction? I noticed on thise car when you spin the tires it sounds like clutch slip over wheelspin. Other than that i really couldn't tell you, does the car lose power or buck or stumble?
Like I said, I didn't notice it until I put the DP on, so it's possible it added enough torque to break traction, but it just seems to have a slightly different sound. It doesn't seem to lose power, especially after the flash. If detonation were the case, can I keep running the car as is, or is this something that is would get progressively worse? WOuld putting it back to stock fix anything, or would it be a *you're already screwed* type of thing?<<assuming it was detonation, of course.turboge said:
