Well SB isn't all that big, but I would just like an exact spot so we can start getting our s*** in order up here. Me and Pfizzle are the furthest away, so we will be the first to leave, picking up the other cars along the way. It's looking to be about a 5 hour drive, and an exact location would help us to plan our times

Actually I wasn't joking about not going.

No matter where you stay in SB it will be close to the meet site. Santa Barbara isn't that big, although traffic on the 101 has been bad lately.

i would recommend against the water front on any given weekend. if i remember correctly, east beach and some of west beach is used by artists and other street vendors. there might not be enough parking down on the waterfront. i'm almost positive it's on saturdays, unless they changed it.

OK, don't decide to not go if somebody else isn't going, either. I vaguely remember driving from San Francisco to San Diego, where one person cancelled, and everybody else jumped ship. It wasn't very cool because I put a lot of work into going that weekend.
