Hello.
While cleaning the interior of my 08 GT I found a rubber bushing under the drivers seat. Investigation revealed one of the seat actuator rod ends was missing the snubber or stop. It looks like the actuator drives until it contacts the stop then the motor stops due to increased resistance. Is that how it's supposed to work?
I took it to the dealer and they were clueless. They did say they could not get the stop and would have to order the entire seat mechanical assy. They were supposed to check if it would be covered under warrenty, but it's been two weeks and they haven't gotten back to me.
Any similar experiences out there?
Thanks.
