Power Mirrors stopped working...

I have a 2008 Mazdaspeed3 and I was adjusting my passenger side mirror yesterday and when i got it adjusted I went to adjust my drivers side mirror, but it would not move. I then tried to move the passenger side mirror and it also wouldn't work.

I have the Speedline power folding mirrors installed, and figured they were the cause so I switched to my OEM mirrors and same symptoms, no response from the mirrors.

I checked the MIRROR fuse and it is still intact. Is it possible that the switch burned out?

its possible...see if you have power going to the switch with a multi-meter. If yes, then you know that the problem is somewhere between the switch and the mirror. If you do not have power then you know that the problem is before the switch

Yeah thats what my next plan of attack was. I just hate taking off the door panel.

Everything else works just fine, just not the mirrors.

did you change the fuse or just look? it may sound dumb but sometimes they LOOK okay, but really arnt.

Checked with continuity on a multimeter, fuse removed, and fuse replaced. There was no fault found, but I changed it just to be sure.

There is only the one fuse correct?

who knows, It is entirely possible that there could be more than one. I guess until the process of elimination begins, it is really hard to tell

Yeah true. Although I did check every fuse in both panels and they all seemed to be intact.

I was just makin sure man, didnt wanna see you pull all that crap off and come to find out the fuse was f'ed up. but it looks as if the next step is to pull it apart.

unless you have a warranty, then just bring it in.

Yeah I do have warranty but the nearest dealer to me is a 3 hour car ride away. I will just have them check it out later.

You should be able to access the plug going to the mirror (and with the wires going to the mirror) from behind the triangular panel without taking off the whole door panel.
