2013 Mazda 2 1.5
I've noticed some years of the de Mazda 2 1.5 have 82kw (110hp) instead of 76kw (102hp) from same engine was wondering what's the differences between the two

I think you're reading the difference in horsepower 'at the wheels' and 'at the crank'. All of the 1.5l engines since '02 have been 111HP at the crank, and about 100HP at the wheels when mated to the 5-speed.

Does this mean that all these years Mazda has been reporting power at the wheels? While every other manufacturer has been reporting "at the crank"?

Don't think it's that because the base model have 76kw listed and highest spec had 82kw from same year

I have also seen the 1.5 MZR listed as developing up to 111hp in various markets. In for more info. Different ECU mapping?

I've only ever seen it listed as 100 @ 6,000 rpm for as long as it's been around in North America.

I've noticed only series 1 of the De Mazda 2 has the extra power on the top of the range model
