after doing some wheel shopping i decided i actually like the ms3 wheels, i just dont like the alloy color on my black mica. so if anybody has some links or pics of the ms3 wheels powder coated, or have the ability to play with photoshop please post some ideas out there. kinda thinking of gloss black with a silver lip.. but im not sure. thanks.

GOLD!!!!GOLD!!!!GOLD!!!!!There is a pic of one possibly on the "other" forum. I think it is in a thread called "Has anyone painted the factory wheels?" or something along those lines. You DID try a search, didn't you? lol

^ yeah saw that, at first i thought it would look like crap but after seeing them in person. WOW. looks really nice.

i asked the same thing a little while back, of course just got the usual 'search' quips...

i'm a moderator on both honda-tech and d-series.org, two sites with close to 300,000 users between them, and i have people on here telling me to search as if i don't know to do that (confused)

anyway, i found nothing on this forum when searching for any combination of words to show painted and/or powdercoated stock wheels other than some hideous red and black combination. maybe my vbulletin skills suck, but i doubt it.

i ended up just having a friend pshop something for me.

bravo!

i see you pulled them from different user albums. how did you come up with those pics? also, you don't happen to have others with different color combos, do you??? IE silver/ gunmetal OE wheels :P

I painted a few. They look sharp on my comp but out of focus when I upload the pics, sorry for that.

Will someone please photoshop a silver MS3 with black stock wheels? and whats a decent price for a powder coat job?

Nahhh man. Don't clear coat them. Paint them black, but leave it a flat/matte black finish. Like the guy who posted his new Tein S-techs. Love his look.

Black with silver/white accent

I guess we should assume you know how to do it.
You appeared that you took things the wrong way, and as a moderator you should know how things come across to individuals. I found the same pics, but after your little "quip", I decided I had wasted enough of MY time trying to find what YOU wanted.

I was actually trying to help you.

Here you go...

Thanks to itrhybrid for the awesome photo for me to mangle. :)

I think I could go lighter. Let me know if this looks too dark on your monitor.

Wow! That looks pretty damn nice. Anyone want to do a Cosmic Blue Mica with those black wheels? I dont have photoshop and my skills on Paint are seriously lacking.

TIA (sun)

Awesome, thanks. I just wish there was a better pic of the car. That silver one with the wheels looks killer.
