The ECU limits HP in the first three gears to limit wheel spin.

If it isn't dynoed in 4+ then the numbers ore going to be much lower.

I had always heard of this being in the first 2 gears, you're the first person I've heard say it was 3. Regardless, has anybody found a way to defeat this? Seems like a nice feature off the line, but I'd rather have every ounce of power once the car is in motion.

its limited in the first 2 gears 3rd is full power.

there isnt a way to defeat this as of right now... however cobb engineering as well as a few other places are going to be tuning the vehicles... Its electronically controlled so Im sure something will need to be updated in the ECU to allow full power in ALL gears.

However, just keep in mind, if/when there is a fix torque steer will probably be horrendous. 280 lb/ft is a lot to have right off the line. I would probably think it would handle similarly to an SRT-4. Ive only driven one without the LSD but I can tell you that it pulled me directly into the lane on my left the first time I launched. Controllable? yes. Annoying? definately.

Id be curious to see what kind of quarter mile times can be acheived with JUST dissabling the torque limiter.
