having a lift takes the time to do anything and cuts it in half. it's lovely.

I don't think you can install a transmission mount with a lift. You actually have to support the engine from below and access the mount from inside the bay.

When I did my catback a lift would have been awesome though.

lol you don't have to support the engine when you do the tranny mount. I've had mine out 3 or 4 times. the tranny mount only opposes the torque forces on the engine and transmission under acceleration. it doesn't hold anything in per-se. how do you think Mazda techs take them out? lying on their backs? I don't think so.
