Figure i would start a compiled picture thread of dropped 2's. Please post your pics and what spring/coilover wheel/tire size you are running. I seem to be going everywhere looking and trying to compare different drops... so.. maybe this will help me and future 2 owners decide on what to go with. Minimal chatter.. max pictures and info. Thanks.

I was just about to start a thread like this!

The Eibach springs are just about the perfect drop for me, very rarely do I scrub my front bumper, and no wheel rubbing at all. The ride is firmer than stock, but still very tolerable, well worth it for the reduced wheel gap, less body roll, and just all around better handling. If anyone has any questions about anything on my car, feel free to send me a PM.

Hey everyone, when you post please put as much in the way of specs regarding your setup as you can. This thread is a great resource for anyone trying to decide on wheel sizes, tire sizes and springs for ride height. Thanks!

FYI, Andy's SSRs are 15x7.5 +43, no spacers noted. Figured this would help for those that don't like to search for info, or click on links and such.

And to reply to the above question...I'd say it depends on the drop. For the racing beats, with only a slight drop, I was not planning on cutting the bumpstops. For the lower options, you may want to cut off the lowest segment so your still left with a nice taper. Should improve ride quality since you won't be on the bumpstop as much. Maybe corksport will chime in on that one as a more reputable source.

I should never have posted the question as it takes my own thread off topic... Thx for the reply.. Basically I want the h&r drop, but the eibach ride quality... I.ll call derrick or tyler at corkms on monday... Enough blabbering... Post More Pics!!!!!

Does everybody cut the bumpstops? Are you supposed too? How does it affect the ride/ bounce quality?

no everybody doesnt cut them just said i did and it helped up to a certain point ..once you hit to big of a bump etc it will hit but for everyday driving its better for sure..

threads digres/morph get used to it..lol one minute your talking lowering kits and the next thing you know we are talking muffler bearings ..ha ha

The bumpstops on this car are part of the suspension, and the car rides on them even when stock. A bunch of the AutoX guys have done tests and proven that in hard cornering they're being hit quite a bit. Basically they're not like normal hard rubber bumpstops, they're made of a soft squishy material, and they basically make the suspension stiffer when you're cornering hard, but without making ride quality worse in normal driving. I personally don't plan on cutting them.
