are those all your friends that have those mp3s? or is it a meet. And if they are you friends, how'd you guys get so many mp3s in your town. That's incredible. Looks great. though. And by banner what do you mean? The signatures under our posts?

I had the rims powder coated. The place I had them done at used Cardinal Finishes, and charged me only $125 for all four. (I had to pay to mount and dismount the tires which was about another $100). I'm not sure that I like the finish though, I don't think the shop did as good a job as possible. They've been coated twice because the first time chipped. No problems since though.

If you are going to have it done, make sure that they blast the old finish off, powdercoat didn't stick to well the first time.

It is definatley an attention getter, it turns heads ALL day long, even elderly people double-take!!

HOLY CRAP they only charged you 125 for all four?? you mean like... 31.25 a peice?? thats a good price... realy good price..... too bad the shop is so far from me

yah.. you if your getting your wheels refinished.. TAKE OFF THE OLD FINISH.. whether you do it w/ some EXTREMELY fine sand paper or you have a shop blast it... you always always have to get down to the raw/base material before putting a new finish on... its just like a wood table... you COULD put a new finish over the old ugly blotchy one thats already there... but if you sand it down slightly, and then refinish, it will be alot nicer

hey guys,
my dad who works at carters body shop here in alabama is wanting to get a powdercoating system for the shop. He said that he will be willing to powercoat most aything that you guys and girls wants for a reasonable price. he has been doing body and paint work for over 25 years so the quality will be spectacular and if you don't like the finish you can just send it back and he and i will re do it (just pay for shipping charges). he wants to know about how many people will be interestedin these services. at first the prices arent going to be very cheap so he can make most of the money he spent on the p.c. system. and after he gets about half of his money down, the price will drop to whatever the powder coat color cost, shipping charges, and about 35 dollars an hour for labor so you are looking at maybe 80 max.. does that sound fair (im talking about valve covers here just for an example) but wheels will be tad more for the dificulty and we would have you your parts shipped back out in about 2-5 days. just let me know any whom are interested

Yeah I thought I got one hell of a deal too!! It was $25 for the powder and $6 for labor on each wheel. The place was called Ultimate Coatings in Ft. Collins CO. Like I said the finish isn't quite what I woudl call "show finish" but for the price that I paid it can'e be beat. Don't get me wrong though the guys did a good job and the wheels looks nice!:D

the paint is cheap... and if you have any experience in that kind of work, it really isn't hard to do... I did mine on my own but i've done it with a couple other people before... so i had some experience... all in all it came out great... go to your local pep boys and ask them if they have any paint or dye for vinyl... if not.. try autozone or even like OSH or somethin... bout 5 bucks a can.. maybe 7

thx for the compliments
