post up pix of your lowered protege!!!!

I like them as far as handling, but ride quality is similar to one of these:

lmao, okay not so bad but close...
I'm actually going to tweak on it 2moro, seeing as the front is sitting on the trimmed bumpstops.. im gonna trim a lil more and see how it goes, and i can still stick a finger up by the rear wheel well lip, so no need to roll

hahahahaha, i here ya there. but almost no body roll, is SOOOOOO worth it. plus im 16, and could care less

lol yeah the handling and steering response is amazing, im down 15 turns up front and 30 in the rear... and im 21, so i am aiming to get some better ride out of it... give it 5 more years you'll see what i mean it gets real old real quick bouncin aroundlol

lol. maybe you should get tokico's i got them and love them. im SURE there a upgrade from stock. you diffidently gana have to upgrade sooner or later. those stock struts are gana blow

what suspension you got?

really? even with those high offset racing harts?
what size tires are you running?

I rolling on 215/45/17's
but i'll be gettin new tires 215/40/17's which should solve this problem, if not ima roll fenders.

and my suspension is the Tokico Blues Strut/Spring Combo
its a 1.25,1.75 drop. and yea im rubbing bad when i hit stuff esp with weight in the rear....

yea :(
usually how much do they go for?
i gota place that wants 70 for one side so 140 for both sides..is that cheap?

it's not cheap, but if they do a good job then it's worth it. otherwise you might try a narrower tire(like a 205) so it's not as close to the inside of the fender.

haha i wanted to, but i drive highway alot so i didnt go wit that route,
i'll do that with my upcoming WRX STi wagon tho XP

spring: Spool front, stock RB rear
strut: Tokico stock
rim size: 17x6.5
rim offset: 52.5

(cabpatch) black on black protege..i gotta get my wheels redone.(i went the cheap way and had my painter do it.) i have to rescuff and reshoot myself..but anyway:

16in stock wheels
m2 lowering springs (front is slammed, but id like another inch on the back)and for those people that ask about these springs, they are cheap and offer a great ride..not bumpy at all if you use......
kyb shocks
no rubbing, but i do need tires and a serious wheel alignment.
sorry guys, i wish i knew how to make these pics bigger

with a set of racing harts and tires in the back seat.

i want my next set of tires to be 225/45's. they fit good, huh?
I mounted these up because they were the matched set I picked up, I'm looking forward to burning them up and mounting up 225/50/16s front and rear, but part of that is because the MSP's tires are taller than the standard protege from the factory, so for a non-MSP, yeah, I'd go with 225/45s if you're on a 16 and you can find them, and fit them. That size on these tires is discontinued.

i dont care what brand they are, but i would like a little more substance in my wheel wells. 225/45-16 was the stock size on the SRT-4 ACR Neon.
